The actress-slash-singer shows her versatility and charisma by successfully impressing the audience with more than just her pretty face and her voice. Yuan Quan made a spot in the music industry when she met Yao Chien, a top Mandarin music producer and songwriter who has also produced music fir pop divas such as Coco Lee, Elva Hsiao and Rene Liu. He wrote a song for Yuan Quan when she led the musical drama "Amber" that swept across Asia in 2005 and 2006. It was on the drama stage that Yuan Quan first sang publicly to a big audience. The song then was "That crazy little thing called love." It is also featured in Yuan Quan's first album.
